The Gift of Early Intervention

This morning I stopped for a minute and reflected on the job that I do. The amazing strength of all the moms, dads and kids I meet. I am blessed to work with children and families that are experiencing either a developmental delay or a more significant diagnosis in their life. These kids all aged 0-3 are simply amazing! Whether I work with them for something major or minor all these families are just working so hard to help these kids reach every next step. This morning I was working with one of my regular kiddos who just underwent her fourth major surgery in her short year of life. She was full of smiles and ready to play! We can all learn a little from this amazing resilience and spirit. Take on your day like it’s the best day ever. Greet everyone as if they are your best friend. Do something unexpected for someone. You get what you give, all that positivity will absolutely come back to you.

With Love,

Liz
